ATFC & David Penn - La Verdad (Sentimiento) (Madrid Mix)

Is it Summer already? Everytime I hear any material come out of either of these producers, the first thing that comes into mind is "now this is what you call real house music". The creativity in this track is unreal, blending latin, tribal, funky and tech all into one extremely catchy track with a gripping groove.

If you like a more pumping bassline, check out the Valencia Mix here.

Crazibiza & Kevin Prise - Reach Out

I absolutely love it when an oldie is sampled, and this is no exception. Crazibiza & Kevin Prise have done an absolutely incredible job on this one. Crazibiza's trademark funky house sound is back with a sample of 80s track George Duke - Reach Out and I'm really struggling to find something to criticise. The sampled vocals and chords along with the grooving bass and the typical Crazibiza beat is making this a contender for one of my favourite tracks of the year. Our first 5 Star here on Oosh!

MTHF - Flip Fantasia

Hello! Loving this... Great sampling of US3 - Cantaloop in this track. Using this sample creates a really interesting build up to an even better drop with a tech-tribal beat and a continuation of a part of the sample. Love love love. Big tune.

Rene Amesz - 70

TONIGHT IT'S PARTY TIME! Absolutely love this new track from Rene Amesz! Haven't heard from him for a while and this really reminds me of some of his old stuff, yet has a new edge with the vocals. It has an awesome tech-house vibe yet still brings some classic house features to the table, alongside some really simple yet catchy vocals. Played this in my set last weekend and it went off! The build-up and drop is just unreal.

Oliver $ - Granulated Soul

Follow up to the massive release Doin Ya Thang, Oliver $ is back at the top of the Beatport chart with his new track Granulated Soul. Like his last track, this song is simple but effective, sticking to the roots of "true unadulterated pure granulated soul". His use of vocal samples is brilliant, at sometimes distracting, but nevertheless put a fun edge on his tracks. Overall this is a track that gets people moving and talking, and considering it's hit number one on Beatport within days of it's release, it must be good.

The Shapeshifters & C-Dock - Nothing But Love For You

Not to be confused with the production from Axwell, The Shapeshifters have teamed up with vocalist C-Dock to create solid house anthem 'Nothing But Love For You'. Some great keyboard chords in there with the vocals to create a refined old skool house sound.. and as soon as the drop comes you're hit with some awesome synth chord progressions. The track does seem to be lacking a steady bass but it's made up for in the great vocals and chords.

Welcome to Oosh! Music

Hi there and welcome to my new blog. I could sit here and tell you about the plans I have for the future and where I'm going to go with this blog, but I really have no idea. Lots of people seem to be doing them nowadays, and I am really keen to share my interest in house music, so I hope this has some form of success and people enjoy reading it on a day to day basis.

Every day new tracks will be posted, a different genre each day of the week.

Tuesday - Tech House
Wednesday - House
Thursday - Progressive House
Friday - Commercial House
Saturday - Electro House
Sunday - Disco House

Basically what you can expect here is a load of great new releases, event news, festival news, DJ mixes, charts etc. It really could be anything related to house music, which is why I hope that you will find it interesting as it won't be the same old thing over and over again. I'm not here to review music, just post it!

Obviously it'll take me some time to get things properly up and running but I hope you return to check it out every so often.

Thanks

Kris Harris

P.S. Why is it called Oosh! Music? Well to be honest I just fucking love the word Oosh!
